In the early millennium, Alex Gall was one of the top amateurs in skateboarding. After having interviews in all of the major mags and having last part in Transworld's In Bloom, things seemed to be going in the right direction for him. Already becoming a household name, he left Zero in 2001 and headed over to Bootleg Skateboards.

But after quitting/getting kicked off Bootleg in 2003, he's been off the radar. Apparently, he had to have several major surgeries on his knee. There have been rumors of him getting back on his board, but we'll see how that pans out. It would be sick to see Alex at it again. Guess this goes to show that not all things are guaranteed.
